Luxaviation Group, one of the world’s largest private aviation operators, has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding for the long-term supply of up to 10,000 metric tonnes of RFNBO-compliant eSAF per year under a 15-year offtake framework beginning in 2029.
The fuel will be produced at our Helguvík facility using renewable electricity and captured CO₂, certified under EU RED II and ReFuelEU criteria, and distributed via a book-and-claim system within the European Economic Area.
This agreement brings our total committed offtake to 55,000 tonnes per year, approximately 85% of the facility’s nameplate capacity, and demonstrates the role that long-term SAF agreements play in unlocking infrastructure investment.
